New kind of Genre, a mix between Jazz and Punk - so JANK (not Junk hopefully haha!). Personal stories of growth, love / sex, a Cat Steven's cover of Father and Son - jacked up, punked out, chill grooves. There's a song about coming back to your home town and finding everyone you knew has moved on and no one knows you anymore. There's an aggressive, apocalyptic song about being under the thumb, a dance song about the state of songwriting in the world now and a song about how it all started for me called Get Your Own (It's Alright) - hopefully someone will find something they like in all of it and thank you for taking the time to listen, this took a very long time to make in-between juggling work, gigs and family.
